MITCHELL PADULA
April 6, 1984 - April 22, 2012
 

It is with great saddness to report that long time NCBOA basketball official, Mitchell Padula passed away on Sunday, 4/22/12 during a tragic accident while hiking at Feather Falls.

Mitchell began his officiating career with the NCBOA in 2001. During his time with our association, Mitchell had the opportunity to officiate numerous CIF Section Final and State playoff games. Mitchell was studying mechanical engineering at Chico State University. Mitch's father, Bill Padula is the assignor for NCBOA officials and Mitch's brother, Michael is also a long time NCBOA official.

The NCBOA would like to express its deepest sympathy to the family during this very difficult time. Mitchell was a special person and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

North State High School Referee Advancement Camp

Mark your calendars! The North State High School Referee Advancement Camp is scheduled for June 22 - 24, 2012 at Chico State University. Both 2-man and 3-man mechanics instruction will be available. The NCBOA-Chico Board strongly suggests members make every attempt to attend a camp and/or camps during the off season. Click here to to download the camp registration form.
